Catherine Kloepfer joined the City in March 2021 after over a decade with the Winnipeg Airports Authority, and previous experience as a leader in the assurance practice of KPMG in Winnipeg. Her focus in management has covered finance, procurement, infrastructure, real estate, human resources, information technology and governance. While in public practice her clients were from a wide variety of business models and industries including financial services, manufacturing and health care. As a life-long Winnipegger, she has focused on community with her roles as the Chair of the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada, Winnipeg Arts Council, and volunteer work with numerous not-for-profit entities such as St. Boniface Hospital and the Reh-Fit Centre. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a certified Director.
