Born and raised in Winnipeg, Gerry holds B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics. Gerry Price joined E.H. Price Limited (now Price Industries Limited) in 1977 and became President in 1986. He laid the foundation for Price’s expansion into the U.S. market, and over the course of his career has launched many new product lines, factory expansions and new business units in Canada, U.S., Australia & New Zealand. The Price Group comprises 7 companies with over $800M in sales, and operates 21 factories, 6 in Canada, 8 in the U.S. and 7 across Australia and New Zealand, totaling over 2 million sq. ft. Manufactured products range from HVAC mechanical products to transit windows, aluminum extrusions and other industrial products.
