James Trainor is the Senior Vice President at Aon Commercial Risk Solutions, bringing a wealth of experience from a distinguished career at the Federal Bureau of Investigation. At the FBI, Mr. Trainor led the Cyber Division at Headquarters, playing a pivotal role in developing the national strategy to combat cybercrime.

At Aon, Mr. Trainor is instrumental in shaping the company's cyber and technology strategy, helping clients mitigate and reduce various risks. He is a graduate of Assumption University in Worcester, Massachusetts, and holds a master’s degree from the University of Connecticut. Additionally, he has completed certificate programs for Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Chief Digital Officer (CDigitalO), and Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Carnegie Mellon University.

Mr. Trainor is the recipient of the 2016 Presidential Rank Award from the Office of the President of the United States. He serves on the advisory boards for AttackIQ and Veritas Data Research. With 37 years of combined experience in the public and private sectors, he has been with Aon since 2016.
