Kate Fenske is the CEO of Downtown Winnipeg BIZ, where she leads the organization’s activities to promote, care and advocate for a vibrant and inclusive downtown where business thrives and people are drawn to work, live, shop and explore.

Kate provides strategic direction and a voice for the 1000 businesses operating in downtown Winnipeg and works with her team to create a neighbourhood where everyone feels welcome.

Kate currently serves on the Executive of the International Downtown Association (IDA) Board of Directors and chairs IDA Canada. She is also on the Board of the Downtown Community Safety Partnership (DCSP) and previously served on the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce Board.
