Since becoming President & CEO in July 2016, Loren Remillard has spearheaded The Winnipeg Chamber’s growth into Manitoba’s largest and most diverse business organization. Year after year, independent surveys of business executives rank The Winnipeg Chamber as the province’s leading business organization for value, results, and impact.

n 2022, he Chamber of Commerce Executives of Canada named Loren the national Executive of the Year in recognition of his leadership and contributions to the local business community, in particular through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Loren currently serves as President of the Chambers of Commerce Insurance Corporation of Canada, Director of the World Trade Centre Winnipeg, Past-President of the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Canada, Co-Chair of the Immigration Partnership Winnipeg, and member of the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre Board of Trustees. He has previously served on the Board of Directors for the YMCA-YWCA of Winnipeg and Island Lakes Residents Group.

Loren holds a Master of Arts (Political Studies) and Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from the University of Manitoba and a Certificate in Public Participation from the International Association for Public Participation.
