Prior to joining AlphaQ Venture Capital, Ameer was part of the investment team at Israel-based Vintage Investment Partners, where he developed deep expertise within the global VC fund ecosystem through sourcing, conducting in-depth due diligence and modelling of primary and secondary VC investment opportunities in both established and emerging managers, overseeing the fund of funds pipeline and budget allocation, and attending global annual meetings and industry conferences where he developed a broad network of VCs and VC allocators across the U.S., Europe and Israel. Prior to that, Ameer held various positions in assurance and consulting at EY’s High-Tech division and BDO Consulting Group, where he worked with startups, VC funds and public tech companies. Ameer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Economics as well as an MBA in Financial Management from Tel Aviv University.
