Janette is a deep tech entrepreneur and investor with Merantix, an AI specialist investment platform operating out of Berlin, acting as a member of the management board and their CFO. Her venture fund is backed by investors such as Transpose Ventures, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, W.K. Kellogg Foundation, and Softbank.

Strongly advocating for deep tech investments that create true social, sustainable, and economic impact, she serves on the board of several of Merantix’s portfolio companies, including OVOM Care, a reproductive healthcare company, Briink, an NLP company in sustainable finance, and the Merantix AI Campus, a community of over 1000 AI talents that she has also co-founded.

She is a member of the Milken Institute Young Leaders Circle, part of Forbes 30u30, and holds a business degree from the University of St. Gallen (HSG), Switzerland.
