Samvit Prakash has over 20 years of experience in finance at firms like HBK, Prosiris, Metacapital, BNP Paribas, and The World Bank. He holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics with a specialization in Mathematical Finance from the University of Maryland, College Park. At The World Bank Treasury, he managed a loan portfolio of $125 billion across currencies and structured hedge products for member countries. He worked at BNP Paribas as a strategist and later traded Agency MBS. He also managed Agency MBS portfolios at Metacapital, Prosiris and HBK and also oversaw analytics and research. He is an expert in fixed income including MBS, structured credit, interest rates, inflation, and volatility.
