Andrea Willette is a Professional Accounting Fellow in the Office of the Chief Accountant (OCA) at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). In her role in OCA’s Accounting Group, Andrea considers the application of accounting standards as part of the office’s consultation process with registrants and other divisions at the SEC, works with private sector accounting bodies such as the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), and reviews SEC rulemaking matters.

Prior to joining the Commission, Andrea was a Senior Manager in the national office of a public accounting firm. Andrea graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and is a Certified Public Accountant in both New York and Illinois
