Fran Dougherty is currently the Vice President of Finance, Enterprise Strategies at Johnson & Johnson. In this role, Fran is supporting and implementing key initiatives on behalf of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Johnson & Johnson and has been leading a significant portion of the financial and accounting activities associated with the separation of J&J’s Consumer Health Business. Before his current role, Fran served as Vice President of Finance & CFO Ethicon, where he provided financial leadership to J&J’s Global Ethicon Business, including US Commercial, Global Research & Development, Global Strategic Marketing, and the Robotics and Digital (RAD) organizations. Prior to this, Fran was Vice President of Finance, Medical Devices Innovation, where he led the Finance function for Business Development, R&D, and Franchise Strategic Marketing across the Medical Devices segment of Johnson & Johnson. Prior to that, he spent 10 years in the Janssen Pharmaceuticals segment of Johnson & Johnson where he held several significant finance leadership roles supporting the US Commercial Business, Janssen Research & Development, and led Finance for the Janssen Supply Chain organization. Fran began his career at Johnson & Johnson at McNeil Consumer Healthcare in 2001. Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, Fran spent several years at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Philadelphia.
Fran obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from DeSales University, his MBA from Villanova University, and is a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania.
