Profile

Jess is currently a Vice President in J&J’s Global Audit & Assurance function. She has global responsibility over the enterprise’s Technology audit strategy, management and program execution. Additionally, she leads the enterprise’s overall SOX 404 Compliance program and GA&A’s digital innovation program. Working with business partners in Technology, Global Finance and other risk management functions, Jess leads a cross-functional, global team to provide technology related assurance, guidance and insights to help the organization effectively navigate current and emerging enterprise risk. She is a member of the Senior Audit Leadership Team (SALT), working collaboratively with other audit leaders to provide integrated risk insights to the Global Finance Leadership Team (GFLT), J&J Executive Committee (EC), and the Audit Committee of the J&J Board of Directors. Additionally, Jess serves as a Steering Committee leader for the Global Finance Artificial Intelligence & Intelligent Automation (AI&IA) Council, focused on accelerating the digital maturity across finance through collaboration and best practice sharing.

Prior to joining J&J, Jess was a Director at PwC in the Digital Assurance & Transparency practice. In her 15+ year career at PwC, she led the systems and process assurance service delivery across several complex, high-profile, multinational client accounts within the Consumer/Industrial Products and Pharmaceutical Life Sciences industries. Utilizing approaches rooted in collaboration and innovation, Jess successfully guided her stakeholders in managing enterprise risk while unlocking value, particularly through finance and technology transformation.

Throughout her professional career, Jess has led several People initiatives focused on inclusion for all. She is passionate about unlocking the full potential of her teams and building future people leaders. A strong proponent of women in leadership and in technology, Jess has used her experiences to mentor professionals in progressing their careers and reaching their development goals.

Jess is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration – Finance and Information Technology from Monmouth University, in West Long Branch, New Jersey.
