Sal Giovine is CFO, North America Innovative Medicine where he and his team are responsible for all Commercial aspects of J&J IM’s business in the US and Canada. Prior to this role Sal was CFO, Innovative Medicine External Innovation, responsible for providing financial leadership to M&A, Licensing, Corporate Venture and R&D transactions including J&J’s recent acquisition of Intra Cellular Therapies. Sal was previously CFO of Xilio Therapeutics, an immuno-oncology company, where he and his team led through the company’s IPO and where he was responsible for Finance and certain of the company’s operating functions. Prior to Xilio, over a 15 year-tenure at J&J, Sal held roles of increasing responsibility across Corporate as well as J&J’s Innovative Medicine and then Consumer Health businesses. Sal began his career in Public Accounting at Deloitte and hold a B.S. and M.B.A. from Fordham University in New York.
