Ted Huizenga is SVP, Chief Accounting Officer at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. Since joining the company in 2014 during its IPO as a development-stage entity, Ted has supported scaling the organization into a global commercial biotech company. He currently maintains global oversight of the Accounting, Treasury, Internal Audit, and Finance Systems teams.

Prior to his tenure at Ultragenyx, Ted held key finance leadership roles at Crescendo Bioscience and RDV Corporation. He also was an Audit Manager within the Technology group at PwC. Ted holds a B.S. in Accounting from Calvin University and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) in Colorado.
