Dan Lujan is a Partner in EY’s London Assurance Practice, working closely with clients across the life sciences sector to help them anticipate and respond to an evolving business landscape. He collaborates with leadership teams to navigate complexity at the intersections of accounting, regulation, capital markets, technology and broader macroeconomic change.

Dan brings deep global experience, having previously served as a Partner in EY’s San Francisco Bay Area Life Sciences Assurance Practice and as a resident in EY’s US National Professional Practice Group in New York, where he supported a range of accounting, audit and regulatory matters relevant to the life sciences industry. He has also completed an assignment with EY’s London Capital Markets team, advising on initial public offerings.

He has extensive experience supporting life sciences organisations with successfully executing R&D and commercial collaboration agreements, new product launches, R&D and royalty financing arrangements and other capital raising transactions, including managing the related financial reporting requirements under US GAAP and IFRS. Dan is known for helping clients with aligning technical requirements with strategic ambition as their businesses scale and transform.
