Covid Safe Ticket (CST)
This information is up-to-date according to current guidelines as of 17 November 2021.
Do I need to be fully vaccinated or have a negative COVID-19 test to attend?
Yes, we will be using the Brussels Covid Safe Pass
You will be required to prove your COVID free status through the Covid Safe Ticket system, a Belgian, EU Digital COVID Certificate or an equivalent recognised by Belgium such as a NHS COVID Pass. To enter the event you will need to provide one of the following COVID certificates:
- A vaccination certificate which proves that you have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 + 2 weeks after your last vaccination dose.
- A test certificate which proves a negative COVID-19 PCR test result within the last 48 hours. (this result is valid for the day of testing + 48 hours)
- A test certificate which proves a negative COVID-19 ANTIGEN test result within the last 24 hours (this result is valid for the day of testing + 24 hours)
- A recovery certificate which shows that you have recovered from COVID-19 in the last 180 days and that you no longer need to isolate.
Please be ready to prove that you have one of the above certificates at the conference registration desk. You will be checked daily and your QR code scanned.
Tests will not be organised at the conference hotel, the closest test centre is around 10 minutes’ walk from the conference hotel – Centre Pacheco Centrum Saint-Jean Boulevard Pacheco - Pachecolaan 42, 1000 Bruxelles - Brussel
Do you have the Belgian nationality, or are you in possession of a Belgian document of residence?
- You can request a digital Covid Safe Ticket in the CovidSafeBE-app (mobile app) and on websites like Mijn Burgerprofiel, mijngezondheid.be, masanté.be, and MyHealthViewer. To request your certificate online, you’ll need your ID-card, pin code, and card reader. Other activated digital keys (like itsme) will work as well.
- You can receive a printed version of a Covid Safe Ticket or vaccination certificate by mail as well. Do keep in mind it’ll take at least one week for postal services to deliver your order. To receive a Covid Safe Ticket by mail, contact the Helpdesk of the region you were vaccinated in:
- Brussels: 02 214 19 19 (09:00 – 17:30 on weekdays, 10:00 – 17:30 on weekends)
- French Community: 071 31 34 93 (09:00 – 19:00, Monday through Saturday)
- Flanders: 078 78 78 50 (09:00 – 17:00, weekdays only) (for international calls: +32 78 78 78 50)
- German-speaking Community: 0800 23 032 (09:00 – 17:00, weekdays only)
Are you a citizen of the European Union?
Then you can use the EU Digital COVID Certificate. For more information click here.
Are you living outside the European Union?
If you are a UK resident (excluding Scotland) you can use your NHS Covid Pass. Also the 16 non-EU countries (and territories) who joined the EU Digital COVID Certificate system, can use their EU Digital Covid pass. For more information click here.
Are you a resident of another country?
You will need to provide a Antigen or PCR test and obtain a valid QR code. Tests will not be organised at the conference hotel, the closest test centre is around 10 minutes’ walk from the conference hotel – Centre Pacheco Centrum Saint-Jean, Boulevard Pacheco - Pachecolaan 42, 1000 Bruxelles - Brussel
Do I need to wear a mask?
Yes, please wear a mask at all times when moving around the conference venue. You may remove the mask when seated.
What shall I do if I have symptoms of COVID-19?
Please do not enter the event if you have any of the signs or symptoms of COVID-19; these include, a high temperature, a new continuous cough and a change to taste or smell.
On-site protocol in addition to Covid Safe Ticket (CST)
- Please be mindful and respect the comfort levels of other delegates in terms of personal contact and social distancing
- For everyone's safety, we will be taking the following measures on site:
- The use of face masks is encouraged when moving around inside the conference venue
- Hand sanitiser stations will be provided throughout the venue
- Minimal touchpoints including at lunch and during refreshment breaks
- All attendees will be able to access the conference app in order to access conference materials - avoiding the need to distribute and share printed materials. In order to avoid microphone sharing, questions to speakers can be sent by text via the app during the conference
