IAN ROSE is Vice President, Compliance, at Volvo Trucks, based in Gothenburg, Sweden, covering competition law compliance worldwide. Volvo Trucks is part of the Volvo Group and is the second-largest heavy-duty truck brand in the world, making vehicles that are sold and serviced in more than 140 countries, supported by over 2,300 dealerships and workshops. Ian is a Solicitor admitted in England & Wales, and prior to joining the Volvo Group, he was a partner at a City of London practice and worked out of London and Brussels. He has been a Trustee of the Institute of Business Ethics, which was established 30 years ago to encourage high standards of business behaviour based on ethical values. He is also a Trustee of Europe’s largest dog welfare charity, Dogs Trust.
