Oliver Gannon is an Economist at Deutsche Bahn AG in Berlin. He specialises in the application of economic theory and econometric analysis to competition matters. Recent cases he has advised on whilst at DB include the air freight and trucks cartels along with the recently implemented cartel screening tool. Prior to joining DB, he worked at Ashurst LLP (London) and NERA Economic Consultancy (Berlin) as an Economist. During this time, he advised multinational companies involved in antitrust matters at a national (English/German) and European level spanning a wide range of sectors including:

He has also published on various aspects of competition economics and policy – most recently on the issue of cartel screening.
