Sebastian Wismer

Head of Digital Policy Unit at Bundeskartellamt

Sebastian Wismer is Head of Unit “Digital Economy” (G6) which is part of the General Policy Division at the Bundeskartellamt, the German Competition Authority. Previously he worked as a Case Officer within the Policy Division, the Chief Economist’s Team and the Decision Division for telecommunication, IT and broadcasting media.

Sebastian studied economathematics at the University of Wuerzburg. He holds a Ph.D. in industrial organization.
