Steve Reeder joined TikTok in May 2021, and leads on global antitrust and competition law matters, as well as other regulatory aspects of M&A. He manages all the company’s competition-related advice and regulatory engagement. This includes responding to government inquiries, advising on product, and managing competition and foreign investment filings. He is also the company's central legal contact on the Digital Markets Act (DMA). Prior to joining TikTok, Mr Reeder spent over six years working for the software company Oracle as the sole US-based attorney in their Antitrust group, contributing to competition responses across six continents. Mr Reeder began his career in the Antitrust department of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.
