Beth Burks is Director of Sustainable Finance Markets at S&P Global Ratings. Beth leads thought leadership for S&P Global Ratings on sustainable finance. She is a member of the City of London Corporation’s Transition Finance Council where she works on bringing credibility to the Transition Finance markets. She has worked for over a decade on research and development of analytical approaches to assessing sustainability including designing assessments of entity-level Climate Transition strategies, TCFD disclosure, Sustainable and Transition bonds and loans, and Sustainable Finance more broadly.

Beth is a Vice-Chair on the International Chamber of Commerce’s Global Energy and Environment Commission where she represents Business & Industry in climate finance negotiations at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change’s conference of parties (UNFCCC COP).
