Hadrien Michel is an environment economist specialized in finance. After more than ten years working with multilateral development banks, Hadrien joined the Commission in 2016, where he helped design EU climate policy funds, as well as new initiatives to support energy efficiency through innovative financial instruments. Currently, Hadrien is working in Directorate-General for Environment to develop and implement the EU roadmap on nature credits. He is also following biodiversity funding under the EU budgetary framework.
