This conference brings real and serious stakeholders together to talk about their common issues. It can be a powerful platform or group for lobbying governments in terms of leveling ground for better business and policy agendas in Africa. Sugar production occupies an important role in our industrialization program. Therefore, the Sugar Industry can fasten sustainable development, taking into consideration the comparative advantages on the continent. Issues discussed in the conference raise serious development and economic issues our policy managers need to get to know, so that they can put up a good environment that helps create wealth. I am therefore recommending attendance by our sugarcane growers, policy managers, and colleagues in the industry/sector so that we can come together for the common good and development of our motherland Africa
