HEM Aly TOURE is the Permanent Representative of Côte d’Ivoire to International Commodity Organizations and is based In London, with 22 years of experience in the commodity field. He serves as the interface between the government of Côte d’Ivoire and the international commodity bodies (ICBs). Prior to that position, he was Deputy Permanent Representative from 2004 to 2010. He was chairman of the Governing Council of the Common Fund for Commodities; Chairman of the International Grain Council; Chairman Head of delegations the International Rubber Study Group and its Strategic Review Working Group; Chairman of the International Coffee Organization; Chairman of the International Sugar Organization; current Spokesman for Cocoa Producing Countries at the International Cocoa Organization; current Spokesperson of the African coffee producers at the International Coffee Organization; Chairman of the Board of Directors and Finance committee of the Inter-African Coffee Organization; Chairman of the Technical Restructuring Committee for the Cocoa Producers Alliance, chairman of the African Development Task Force, vice-chair of the International sugar Organization, chairman of the selection committee of the next executive director of ISO, chairman of the strategic review group of the International Coffee organization
