Bryson Mkhomaanthu is the Chief Executive Officer of PressCane Limited, a leading ethanol producer in Malawi championing sustainable energy solutions. With over two decades of experience in engineering, strategy, and renewable energy, Bryson has led transformative initiatives that position PressCane at the forefront of Africa’s green energy transition.

Under his leadership, the company is pioneering projects in carbon capture, biogas power generation, and waste-to-fertilizer conversion through a Zero Liquid Discharge system. Bryson is passionate about unlocking shared value through inclusive development, particularly by integrating smallholder farmers into the sugarcane supply chain.

He holds a Master’s in Project Management from the University of Bolton and a Mechanical Engineering degree from MUBAS, complemented by executive training from the Universities of Cape Town and Stellenbosch.
