Profile

Team Leader of the Expansion Program of Uganda Farmers Crop Industries (UFCI) from a mere 90 Tons sugar cane to 180 tons of cane per day. In June 2014 we commenced phase two to expand to 300tons cane per day with power generation of 0.7MW and a distillery of 5000Litres per day. Under my guidance UFCI was able to manufacture a competitive natural brown un sulphured sugar on the Ugandan Market.

Was core in idea development, design and equipment procurement guidance for the Bwendero Daily farm sugar plant in Hoima, who became self reliant in energy for both the 750 TCD and 30 KLD Distillery respectively.

Together with a colleague, designed a tray less clarifier at Kakira sugar Ltd to handle mud slug from the main clarifier; this increased plant capacity by 500Tons per day of sugarcane crushed. This work was published in the international sugar journal of 2001, and was published as an abstract display paper for the International Sugar and Sugarcane Technologist Association (ISSTA) held in Brazil in 2003. It continues to be a reference by several researchers.

I have always done Technical training for my subordinates or whoever is put under my guidance for continued human development and knowledge retention. I have always been a role model Team Leader in my places of work.
