Eduardo is the Director for Strategy Development and New Markets at UNICA (the Brazilian Sugarcane and Bioenergy Industry Association). He has served as the President and CEO of CropLife Brazil and, before that, he served as a Senior Economist and Cluster Leader at the World Bank in Washington, DC and in Mozambique. He was also the head of Agricultural and Agroindustrial Products at the Brazilian Ministry of Economics.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, and a PhD in Applied Economics from the University of Sao Paulo.
