Sarah is General Counsel and Committee for Responsible AI Co-Chair of Adarga, a UK-based defence and national security AI software company specialising in information intelligence. Sarah has been at Adarga for four years and has helped the company through a period of rapid growth, doubling in size and expanding into the US and Australia in response to market demand. Sarah started her career at Freshfields where she trained and qualified as a commercial litigator and then moved to Olswang (now CMS) where much of her practice had a technology focus. Sarah is regularly asked to advise on areas of law that are untested and to contribute to the shaping of policy and regulation in relation to AI. Sarah was previously named as a Rising Star two years in a row by Thomson Reuters in its London Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists and recently won the Women Leader in Tech Law award at the 2024 Women, Influence and Power Awards.
