Thomas Valerius studied Medicine at the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany, where he also obtained his clinical training in Hematology/Oncology and Rheumatology. From 2003 to 2008, he worked at the Department of Nephrology of the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein, Campus Kiel, Germany, where he is Professor for Internal Medicine. Since 2008, he is Senior Physician at the Section for Stem Cell Transplantation and Immunotherapy. His scientific interest is dedicated to the mechanisms of action of therapeutic antibodies.
