Virtual Event FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: I am a registered attendee, how does this affect me?

  • Your existing in-person conference registration ticket will automatically be carried over to our 100% virtual event and you do not need to re-register. You should have received an email from us regarding any next steps. Please be sure to check your spam folder. Should you have any queries about your registration, please contact our Delegate Relations Director Jessica Purnell at jessica.purnell@informa.com.
  • You will now have access to all that Antibody Engineering & Therapeutics Europe has to offer. Instead of having to choose which of 2 concurrent track sessions you wish to attend at an in-person conference, all virtual attendees will now be able to attend and view presentations for ALL track sessions at the entire conference at your leisure. This means that attendees will be able to view DOUBLE the number of speaker presentations at the virtual event, compared to the in-person event where they could only attend 1 track.
  • You will now have access to a virtual exhibition hall and virtual poster hall featuring peer-submitted scientific posters with opportunities to virtually interact/network with exhibitors and poster presenters.
  • You will still have the ability to network, build personal & company profile, send & receive meeting requests, and view full attendee list.
  • All sessions will be recorded and made available on-demand so you can watch at your leisure.
  • Presentations will still be downloadable from speakers who give us permission.

Q4: How will the presentations be delivered in a virtual format?

  • All 30-minute speaker presentations will be pre-recorded in advance of the conference. (Speakers will be provided with specific instructions/a platform to pre-record their talks in the coming days).
  • The LIVE dates of the conference – August 25-27, 2020 will consist of:

    • Virtual, Moderated Panel Discussions which will include all of the speakers in each of our 8 themed sessions
