Profile
Hiroshi Murakami received his Ph.D. from Okayama University in 2000. He was awarded a post-doctoral research fellowship by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) for the years 2000–2002, for his work with Prof. Masahiko Sisido at Okayama University and Prof. Hiroaki Suga at the State University of New York. In 2003, he joined the University of Tokyo as an assistant professor and was promoted to associate professor in 2009. In 2015, he moved to Nagoya University as a professor. His research focuses on engineering a translation system for the in vitro selection of antibody-like proteins with potential biological and bio-analytical applications.
