Dr. Juan José González Plaza is a multidisciplinary scientist with over 15 years of international experience spanning omics technologies, microbiology, regulatory science, and clinical research.

At Terasom Ltd., he leads a cross-functional team developing extracellular vesicle (EV)-based therapeutics, contributing to experimental design, regulatory strategy, and the implementation of quality systems. His current work focuses on aligning preclinical research with regulatory expectations, including the development of functional assays and the definition of critical quality attributes to support advancement to clinical stages.

He has authored over 28 peer-reviewed publications and brings a broad, cross-sector perspective to help position Terasom as a strong player in the evolving EV field.
