Dr. Nazma Ilahibaks is CEO and co-founder of JAMA Therapeutics and Assistant Professor of Experimental Cardiology at University Medical Center Utrecht in the Netherlands. For more than a decade, her work has focused on developing non-viral delivery technologies for cardiovascular genetic medicine. She leads the translation and commercial development of JAMA Therapeutics’ deVINCI and NEO platforms for transient, DNA-free delivery of gene-editing systems and other precision medicine modalities. She co-founded JAMA Therapeutics to advance these proprietary technologies into therapeutic programmes for genetically driven cardiovascular- and neurodegenerative disorders. Nazma holds a PhD in Regenerative Medicine from Utrecht University.
