Dr. Rajeev Tawar is the Associate Director of Vector and Analytical Development at Evox Therapeutics. He spearheaded the development and pre-qualification of batch release assays for Evox’s lead Huntington’s disease program. In addition, he delivered proprietary plasmid backbones to enhance safety and regulatory compliance and to improve transfection efficiency and manufacturing yields. With over two decades of experience spanning basic science to drug discovery, he possesses extensive expertise in molecular virology, protein and antibody engineering, structural biology, TCR-bispecifics, and extracellular vesicles (EVs). Dr. Tawar holds a PhD in Molecular Virology from the University of Nottingham, an MSc in Veterinary Microbiology from the Royal Veterinary College, London, and an MBA from Henley Business School.
