Amit is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Quadria Capital, Asia's pre-eminent healthcare private equity firm, with $4.3 Billion AUM. Trained as a critical care physician, he brings 36 years of investing, strategy, and operations leadership across United States and Asia - a rare confluence of clinical insight, investing, and institution-building.

He has been pivotal in growth of Asia's most consequential healthcare and pharmaceutical companies- served on founding teams and the board of directors of Narayana Health, Fortis Healthcare, HCG, Parkway Healthcare, AIG Hospitals, Concord Biotech, Akums Drugs and Pharmaceuticals, Encube Ethicals, Hermina Hospitals, Maxivision, Aragen Life Sciences, Tam Tri Hospitals, and NephroPlus. He co-sponsored HealthQuad, India's largest healthcare growth investment platform with $380 Million AUM, backing healthcare ventures at the intersection of technology and innovation.

Amit’s work extends beyond business and medicine into public purpose. He founded and continues to mentor one of Asia's largest TeleICU networks, spanning more than 500 intensive care beds across India, Nepal, and Bangladesh. He is Adjunct Faculty at NUS Business School and has previously held academic appointments at University of Pittsburgh and Cleveland Clinic. He serves on the board of Orbis International, a global non-profit dedicated to preventing blindness and restoring sight in more than 200 countries.

He is a Founder, Trustee, and Advisor at Ashoka University, India's leading liberal arts and sciencesuniversity. He setup Vimaakr, his philanthropy family office, to advance healthcare and education access for underserved Indian communities. He is Senior Advisor to Shantilal Shanghvi Foundation, aphilanthropic initiative of Shri Dilip Shanghvi, Chairman of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries and Principal Trustee of Sanctuary Foundation, an animal welfare organisation. He is also member of the Advisory Board of Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research & Technology (SMART).

He holds MBBS and MD degrees from the University of Delhi, completed super-specialty medical training at the State University of New York and the University of Pittsburgh, and pursued executive education at the University of Chicago.
