Birgit Reitmaier is Head of BD Asia Pacific at the Biopharma division of Merck, a leading science and technology company in healthcare, life science and electronic materials. Based in Singapore she scouts for and transacts on healthcare collaboration opportunities in the Asia Pacific region. She has worked in business development at Merck, KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany since 2009. Prior to that Birgit worked for a skin-research focused biotechnology company near Munich, as Project Director. She obtained her MBA from Henley Management College and her doctorate in chemistry from the University of Mainz.
