Dr. Blaine Phillips is General Manager of Verdeya Research Laboratories, a dedicated preclinical research and development facility. He has more than 20 years of international experience across academia, biotechnology, and the pharmaceutical industry. Since joining Vectura Fertin Pharma in 2010, he has held scientific and leadership roles spanning GLP-compliant preclinical safety assessment, toxicology, aerosol science, and the evaluation of drug candidates and complex inhaled products. His multidisciplinary research background includes cancer biology, stem cell biology and development, and diabetes. Dr. Phillips has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and brings extensive experience in translating scientific capabilities into high-quality preclinical development programs and collaborative partnerships.
