With over 25 years across biotech, medtech, pharma, and government-backed innovation, Dana has built deep cross-sector fluency, a genuinely global network, and the strategic instinct to know which connections matter — and when to make them. She has led and contributed to government-backed innovation programs at local, state, and federal levels — and advised government on industry development across healthtech, nuclear medicine, RNA therapeutics, quantum, space, and defence biosecurity.

Health innovation rarely fails because of the science. It fails because the right people aren't connected, the interests aren't aligned, or there's no one holding the whole picture together while everyone else is focused on their piece of it. Currently Director SA at MTPConnect, she leads the Adelaide Intermediary Program, the Adelaide Life Science Gateway, and the Industry Doctoral Training Centre PhD+ biomanufacturing program — accelerating South Australia's healthtech and life sciences ecosystem into the world.
