Doreen Chai, MSc, BSc is Deputy Director of co11ab Novena, Singapore’s BioMedTech innovation hub founded by A*STAR, Nanyang Technological University and NHG Health. With a scientific background in molecular biology and medical microbiology, complemented by postgraduate training in business administration, Doreen brings over 20 years of experience across Singapore’s BioMedTech ecosystem, spanning government research, academia, industry and startups.

Her experience covers business development, commercialisation, corporate strategy and operations, with a strong focus on supporting early-stage companies. At co11ab, she drives strategic partnerships and initiatives connecting startups with Singapore’s clinical, research, industry and innovation ecosystem to accelerate growth and commercialisation.
