Grace Colón

Dr. Grace E. Colón is an accomplished entrepreneur and executive with a 30-year career spanning biopharma, genomics, health care, venture capital, and industrial biotechnology. Previously, she was Chief Executive Officer of InCarda Therapeutics, where she raised over $120M and advanced the lead program from pre-clinical stage to Phase 3. She held senior leadership roles at Gilead Sciences, Intrexon, Affymetrix, McKinsey & Company, and New Science Ventures. She has also held several early stage biotech co-founder and CEO roles. Grace brings substantial governance expertise shaped by service on numerous public, private, and non-profit boards. Her previous board roles include CareDx, ProterixBio (Executive Chair), Paradigm Diagnostics (acquired by Exact Sciences), Cocoon Biotech, and PerceptiMed. She currently serves as board chair of Aranora, Bloom Science, Emm, and on the boards of Voyager Therapeutics (NASDAQ:VYGR) and the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO). She recently completed a 5-year appointment on the board of the MIT Corporation (MIT's Board of Trustees). Grace holds undergraduate and doctoral degrees in chemical engineering, at the University of Pennsylvania and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, respectively. In 2024 she was elected a Fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE).
