Dr. Hua Jiang works as Executive Director of Business Development in BeOne Medicines. Prior to joining BeOne Medicines, he served as the Head of Business Development at Abbisko Therapeutics. He previously held the position of Director of External Innovation at Abbott’s pharmaceutical division, where he was responsible for asset scouting and licensing. Earlier in his career, he was part of the Global External Innovation team at Boehringer Ingelheim, all based in Shanghai.

Beyond his work in external innovation, Dr. Jiang spent a decade (2009–2019) at the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR), where he advanced from scientist to Investigator III/Project leader, gaining hands-on experience in innovative drug discovery.
