Dr. Jasmine Qiu leads Medtech and Biotech Investments at SGInnovate, where she identifies and drives early-stage investments. An experienced venture builder, she also works closely with SGInnovate’s medtech and biotech portfolio companies to help them grow and scale, guiding them in areas such as commercialisation roadmap formulation and implementation, IP licensing negotiation, and product strategy.

Prior to becoming a venture capitalist, Dr. Qiu spent over seven years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical space, spanning various areas including marketing, supply chain management, operations, and business development.

Dr. Qiu is a medical doctor by training, having attained a Bachelor of Medicine in Clinical Medicine and a Master of Medicine in General Surgery from Guangdong Medical University. She holds an MBA from Nanyang Technological University, and is also a Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst and Financial Risk Manager (FRM®)
