Dr. Jeffrey Chi is a co-founder of Vickers Venture Partners and previously served as its Vice Chairman for Asia. He remains a shareholder and member of the Investment Committee, where he continues to contribute to the firm’s investment activities and portfolio companies.

Dr. Chi is also Founder and CEO of VantageX, an investment and advisory platform focused on helping high-impact companies grow and succeed, with particular interests in life sciences, healthcare, financial services and energy transition.

A veteran of the venture capital industry, Dr. Chi has extensive investment and governance experience across life sciences, healthcare and medical devices, financial services and fintech, and energy transition. He has served on the boards of numerous public and private companies and currently serves on the board of Aardvark Therapeutics (NASDAQ: AARD) and Jing-Jin Electric (SSE: 688280), among others.

Dr. Chi has also contributed to the development of Singapore’s venture capital and financial ecosystem. He has served on the board of SEEDS Capital, the investment arm of Enterprise Singapore, and on advisory panels of the Monetary Authority of Singapore and other public-sector organizations. He is a former Chairman and Ambassador of the Singapore Venture Capital & Private Equity Association.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Chi worked in investment banking and strategy consulting and served as Chairman and CEO of Vickers Vantage Corp. I (NASDAQ: VCKA), a US$138 million special purpose acquisition company.

Dr. Chi graduated from the University of Cambridge with First Class Honours in Engineering and received his S.M. and Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a CFA charterholder and a Chartered Valuer and Appraiser.
