Mark Wang is a seasoned executive in venture capital and financial services specializing in healthcare technology. He founded Pureland Global Venture, a globally diversified MedTech investment group headquartered in Singapore. Mark began his career in assurance at PwC in Canada and the U.S., focusing on private client services with an emphasis on healthcare. During this time, he advised numerous largest hospitals in North America. He later transitioned into deal advisory services, where he participated in and structured a broad spectrum of M&A transactions for both corporate and private equity investors of deals sized up to USD 2 billion.

Mark brings deep expertise in advancing growth-stage medical device companies across the full value chain – from manufacturing to commercialization. He plays a critical role in supporting companies to navigate and overcome challenges across markets in Asia, the U.S., and Europe. Under his leadership, Pureland Global Venture was appointed as the Co-Investment Partner by Enterprise Singapore’s government-backed SEEDS Capital, with a shared mandate to accelerate innovation and support the growth of Singapore’s MedTech ecosystem.

Mark completed the executive program in Strategy for Healthcare Delivery at Harvard Business School. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Toronto and acquired his Chartered Accountant (CA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licenses in Canada.
