ZosterEase: A Ph.2 Clinical Trial of a Novel Antiviral Topical Treatment for Shingles at Wintermute Biomedical

Paul Field is the Executive Chairman of Wintermute Biomedical, a US/Australian company developing a novel treatment for shingles, Solexan. Pain reduction and lesion healing were accelerated in shingles patients that participated in a successful Ph.1b trial in 2025. Wintermute is now raising US$15m for a Ph.2 clinical trial to further demonstrate the efficacy of this potential first-in-class treatment for shingles.
