Profile
Rhenu Bhuller is a life sciences strategy, commercialisation, and investment leader with more than 25 years of global experience advising biotechnology and healthcare companies, investors, and governments. In addition to her work in healthcare strategy consulting, she is a PhD scholar at Macquarie University Business School, through the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering ELEVATE Leadership Scholarship where her research examines how investors and acquirers value RNA therapeutics ventures. Rhenu spent much of her career at Bayer and Frost & Sullivan, where she rose to Partner and Senior Vice President across the Asia Pacific region, building and leading the firm's healthcare and life sciences consulting practice and directing commercialisation, market-access, and investment strategy for many of the world's largest health and life sciences companies. More recently, Rhenu served as Global Investment Lead at AusBiotech, where she built investor confidence in Australian life sciences companies and led the organisation's flagship Invest program connecting companies with capital and partners. She continues to work with C-level executives as an independent consultant with Frost & Sullivan and Twimbit and is on the Invest Melbourne Advisory Board.
She holds an MBA, a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry and has completed MIT Sloan's executive program on Artificial Intelligence and Business Strategy. Rhenu brings a rare dual perspective as a senior industry operator who has conducted due diligence and advised on investment and commercialisation, and now studying systematically what drives their value.
