Dr. Sherry Wang is a global scientific, commercial, and regulatory leadership professional with over 25 years of experience across the US, APAC, and global pharmerging markets. She has successfully bridged the gap between academic research and commercial success, driving large-scale R&D, clinical, and regulatory projects for innovative healthcare companies.
Before joining AEIRA, she was the Head and Principal Director of Commercial & Regulatory Services at IQVIA Solutions Asia, she led the regional practice supporting product registrations, market entry, and commercial launches. She helped innovative companies achieved early markets access through accelerated regulatory approvals, pricing & distribution, and successful reimbursement through health economics, KOL and local hospital partnerships. Dr. Wang also published thought leaderships in orphan drugs, companion diagnostics, cell gene therapies digitization and others across SEA and broader APAC commercialization. Her previous leadership roles include Vice-President at A*STAR Singapore, where she and her teams oversaw over 6,000 scientists’ IP assets utilization, R&D licensing and commercialization, and held key leadership position at US Pharmacopeia (USP) building regional regulatory frameworks and harmonizing standards for global medicine quality.
Dr. Wang began her career in academia as a Principal Investigator and University Professor at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Cancer Science Institute, following Susan Komen breast cancer foundation postdoctoral fellowship with the Nobel Prize Laureate Prof. Elizabeth Blackburn at UCSF. She has authored and published over 50 original international publications in oncology and immunology.
