Associate Professor Tam Nguyen has over 25 years of experience spanning clinical trials, health and medical research and research innovation sector including tertiary teaching hospitals, medical research institutes and universities across Australia.

Tam is the Director of Research & Innovation at Monash Health - Victoria's largest public health service providing safe and high quality healthcare to 25% of Melbourne's population across the entire lifespan. He is responsible for research strategy, research development, research ethics and governance, funding & grants, innovation and partnership.

Tam also serves as board director for ARCS Australia and Vietnamese Museum Australia and advisory board role for numerous organisations. He's a co-editor of a recent book: AI in Medicine (Springer) DOI: 10.1007/978-981-19-1223-8

Tam holds academic appointments with: Melbourne Medical School, Monash Medical School, RMIT University. Tam is also a Visiting Professor with the Sichuan Academy of Medical Sciences & Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital (四川省医学科学院*四川省人民医院).
