Ya-Ting Lei is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in business development and commercial settings within the healthcare sector. She holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Columbia University, an MBA from INSEAD, and a Master's in Microbiology and Immunology from National Yang-Ming University, complemented by a Bachelor's in Horticulture/Biotechnology from National Taiwan University.

Currently serving as the Director of Regional Business Development for Merck Group in Greater Asia, she is leading significant in-licensing and commercial deals while driving business development initiatives across the Asia healthcare ecosystem. Previously, as Director of Global Alliance Management at Merck, she oversaw strategic alignment and management of critical alliances. Previously, Ya-Ting held key positions at Roche Diagnostics and Illumina, managing multi-million dollar oncology diagnostics businesses and achieving remarkable portfolio growth. In addition to her corporate achievements, she contributes to academia as a Guest Lecturer at the National University of Singapore, sharing insights on growth strategies in healthcare.
