Profile
Leo obtained his Ph.D. from UCLA in biochemistry, where he designed synthetic enzyme systems capable of carbon fixation and production of useful biomaterials. After his Ph.D., he founded a startup company focused on making LNP (lipid nanoparticles) as a food additive backed by venture capitals such as the Hult Prize foundation. Later he joined Wyatt Technology in Santa Barbara as a senior scientist. Since late 2024, he moved to Singapore and he covers Wyatt light scattering portfolio for Waters APAC as a resident expert. He principally resides in Singapore while loves to travel to India, Japan, Korea and other ASEAN countries for leisure and business. He is able to speak broadly on biopharma and materials applications. Besides a passion for biopharma sciences, in his private life, he loves skiing, scuba diving, and photography.
