Sirat Sikka started her career as a process development scientist at GlaxoSmithKline Vaccines where responsibilities included early phase development and optimization for mRNA and recombinant protein vaccines. Later, Sirat joined Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Purification Applications Scientist and is currently a Scientist within the applications and innovation team, focusing on Nucleic acid therapeutics synthesis. She has a Master of Science in Biomanufacturing from North Carolina State University. Her research there focused on protein-protein interactions and high-throughput method development.
